General description
Methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) amine-block-poly(L-lysine) (mPEG-PLL) is a cationic diblock copolymer consisting of amine-functionalized PEG and PLL that can be used in drug delivery applications. The cationic PLL block can bind to DNA or RNA, as well as other therapuetic agents, while the amine-functionalized PEG block can be further functionalized with targeting moieties for targeted and controlled drug delivery. This cationic diblock copolymer can self-assemble in the presence of a drug to form polymeric micelles and polymersomes.

Copolymers as a kind of drug delivery carrier always lack targeting efficiency. So a peptide conjugated to a drug delivery system has attracted much attention for tumor-targeted nanomedicine. Thus, we here report a conjugation compound consisting of a copolymer (PEG-b-PLL)
