General description
Rethink your bioinks with TissueFab®
About the material:
The TissueFab® PODS Growth Factor Loaded Bioink Kit, tumor microenvironment, Vis/405 nm contains:
TissueFab PODS Growth Factor Loaded Bioink kit, tumor microenvironment, Vis/405 nm is a ready-to-use, GelMA-based bioink kit which is formulated for cell viability, printing fidelity, and is designed for extrusion-based 3D bioprinting and subsequent crosslinking with exposure to 405nm visible light. TissueFab PODS Growth Factor Loaded Bioink kit, tumor microenvironment, Vis/405 nm can be used with most extrusion-based bioprinters, is biodegradable and cytocompatible.
Included growth factors, CXCL8, CTGF, and CXCL1, are known to play crucial roles in remodeling the tumor microenvironment (TME). Their inclusion with PODS delivery system allows their sustained release within bioprinted constructs and retainment of 70% bioactivity after 6 months. When mixed with the bioink component, the included PODS growth factors can promote tumorigenesis, improve tumor angiogenesis, promote inflammation, and/or promote cancer related cell activation. The selection of growth factors together serves to mimic the TME in cell laded 3D constructs.
