General description

Lithium nickel cobalt oxide (LiNi₀.₈Co₀.₂O), commonly known as LNCO, is a high-performance layered cathode active material engineered for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). This battery-grade powder features a well-defined layered crystal structure, ensuring excellent ion diffusion and structural stability during cycling. We have optimized the particle size distribution to achieve a typical tap density of around 2.0 g/cm³ to support efficient electrode formulation and enhanced battery performance. The particles are uncoated.

Application

Ideal for next-generation LIB research, our LNCO offers a high nominal operating voltage of 3.7 V vs Li/Li⁺ and delivers a reversible capacity exceeding 155 mAh/g, making it an excellent candidate for high-energy-density applications and high voltage studies.
