General description

5 mm disposable tubes are manufactured from N-51A borosilicate glass. Wall thickness for these tubes is 0.015 in. Supplied without a sandblasted marking spot in a bundled multi-pack.

Caps are included but not attached.
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, a spectroscopic method used to explain the structure of molecules and compounds can also help to determine the concentration and dynamics of molecules. This analytical method necessitates particularly precise tubes with a constant diameter, uniform wall thickness, and excellent straightness throughout the tube. Kontes® NMR 5 mm disposable tubes are made from N-51A borosilicate glass 3.3. It is provided with polyethylene caps however not attached.
