General description

Whatman Grade GF 6 glass microfiber filters from Cytiva′s business are suitable for water and wastewater analysis, with extremely fine particle retention and added strength. Grade GF 6 glass filters are suitable for water pollution and waste water analysis. Both require a sub micron filter that can capture tiny particles without weakening.

Application

  • Use as a beer filter in applications including protein removal
  • Determination of chlorophyll and phytoplankton residue
  • Determination of filterable substances and residue on ignition
  • Analysis of aggressive media (e.g., acidic gases)
  • Determination of iron content in the presence of iron oxides
  • Liquid scintillation measurement
