General description
Whatman Anotop HPLC syringe filter products from Cytiva′s business are specifically designed for effective UHPLC and HPLC sample preparation. Cytiva′s Anotop HPLC Syringe Filter helps isolate peaks of interest by filtering particles that could otherwise interfere with accurate analysis prior to liquid chromatography. Anotop LC’s pigment-free polypropylene housing and Anopore inorganic filter media provide low levels of UV-absorbing extractables and compatibility with many chemical solvents. The Anotop aluminum-based Anopore membrane is effective in most organic solvents and aqueous samples. Made from inorganic materials, Cytiva′s Anopore membranes are designed for chemical inertness and functionality in a wide range of temperatures.
Features and Benefits
- Syringe filter removes particulates that could cause damage, supporting longer column life
- Low levels of UV-absorbing extractable substances for consistent HPLC sample preparation
- Anopore inorganic aluminum membrane filters a broad range of solvents
- High pore-size precision due to capillary pore structure
