18:1 Succinyl PE , also known as 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-(succinyl) (N-succinyl DPPE), is a head group modified functionalized lipid. Functionalized lipids perform the role of reporter molecules. N-succinyl DPPE in combination with poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) is used in preparation of new drug delivery systems.
