Species Reactivity:
Although IL-12p70 was detectable in rat, mouse, monkey, canine, and feline plasma, the assay has not been validated for these species.

Cross Reactivity:
Cross-reactivity to interferons of other types was tested using SMC^® Human IL-12p70 High Sensitivity Immunoasay Kit with the following results:

• rhIL-12p40 was found to be < 2.0% cross-reactive
• rhIL-23 was found to be < 1.5% cross-reactive
• rhILp35 was not found to be cross-reactive

Accuracy

• Minimum of 5 serum samples spiked with average recovery of 103% with a range of 100-106%
• Minimum of 5 plasma samples spiked with average recovery of 97% with a range of 84-102%
