General description
Sabouraud Dextrose (SDA) Agar is a nutrient rich complex medium designed for selective cultivation and isolation of yeast and molds.
The synergistic effect of dextrose and low pH of the medium promotes growth of yeast and molds from test samples. Antibiotics are added to the medium to strictly inhibit the growth of any associated bacteria in test samples.

Application
Sabouraud Dextrose (SDA) Agar is used to grow and isolate yeast and molds from non-sterile products. The medium is suitable for QC sample testing for any presence of fungi.
