General description

Highly purified preparation isolated from the triple helical domain of guanidine-HCl-extracted and pepsin-digested bovine joint cartilage collagen Type II. Subunit composition: α1(II)3. Does not react with anti-collagen Type I and anti-collagen Type III by Western blotting.

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, store in the refrigerator (4°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 6 months at 4°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles of solutions.
Solutions gradually solidify at room temperature.
