General description

A cell-permeable quinazolinyl-chloroacetamide compound that selectively and irreversibly blocks EGFR autophosphorylation with no effect on the expression levels of EGFR, and suppresses leiomyoma and myometrical cell proliferation (IC50 = 0.7 µM and 1.1 µM, respectively). Shown to induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest, and in combination with Genistein (Cat. No. 345834) completely suppress leiomyoma cell proliferation.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Primary Target
EGFR
Target IC50: 0.7 µM and 1.1 µM suppressesing leiomyoma and myometrical cell proliferation, respectively
