General description

Full-length, recombinant, human 4EBP1 fused at the N-terminus to a His•Tag sequence and expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. 4EBP1 negatively regulates translation and is inhibited by p70S6K phosphorylation. 4EBP1 is useful as a substrate in the study of p70S6K regulation and inhibitor screening.

Physical form

In 300 mM NaCl, 150 mM Imidazole, 50 mM Sodium Phosphate, 0.2 mM DTT, 0.1 mM PMSF, 25% Glycerol, pH 7.0.

Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C).
