Biochem/physiol Actions
Vanilloid receptor like protein 1 (VRL-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of rat dorsal root ganglia and spinal cord indicates specific staining in a subpopulation of sensory neurons.
Physical form
Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Lyophilized. Contains no preservative. Reconstitute with 20 μL of sterile distilled water. Centrifuge if necessary to remove any residue.
Preparation Note
Maintain lyophilized material at -20°C to -70°C for up to 6 months after date of receipt. After reconstitution maintain frozen at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Glycerol (1:1) can be assed to additional stability. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
