General description

N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) is a polar aprotic solvent known for its high solvency power, thermal stability, and low UV absorbance. It is particularly suitable for analytical chromatography, especially in methods requiring dissolution of polar and high-molecular-weight analytes.

Application

N,N-Dimethylacetamide can be used:
  • As a mobile phase modifier or sample solvent for polar and polymeric compounds, enhancing solubility and peak resolution in reversed-phase and size-exclusion HPLC.
