FibroGRO^® Basal Medium

The FibroGRO basal medium (Cat# SCMF-BM) can be combinedwith two different supplements to create two distinct media kits:

• To form FibroGRO^® Complete Media Kit use SCMF001-S
• To form FibroGRO^®-LS Complete Media Kit use SCMF002-S

FibroGRO^® Media formulations provide an optimal cell cultureenvironment for many types of human fibroblasts and mouse embryonic fibroblastsThese low-serum/serum-free formulations have been shown to grow these cells atrates that meet or exceed commercially available serum containing media, whilemaintaining excellent cell morphology. The media are packaged in a speciallydesigned UV protective shrinkwrap for added stability, which includes atemperature gauge for added convenience. FibroGRO Media contain noantimicrobials and no phenol red, components that can cause cell stress andmasking effects that may influence experimental results.

Basal Medium (SCMF-BM) should be stored at 2 - 8ºC. Thespecial UV protective packaging protects FibroGRO Medium from light damage,however users should take care to protect medium from extended exposure tolight. Supplement Kits (SCMF001-S and SCMF002-S) should be stored at -20ºC. Seeindividual labels for expiry date. Supplemented medium should be stored at 2 -8ºC in the dark. Use within 1 month of supplementation. Do not freeze.
