Preparation Note


  • This sample is provided in a 500 mL HDPE bottle as a whole volume standard.
  • The sample is preserved in 0.15% (v/v) nitric acid.

Sample Preparation

  • Shake the bottle prior to opening.
  • It is suggested that your matrix match the acid concentration of your calibration materials with the PT sample.
  • Analyze using your normal methods. Mercury may be included in an organic form.
