Dioxins and Furans in Tissue proficiency testing material is produced following the ISO/IEC 17043:2010, thereby allowing our test components to offer significant performance data to monitor and prove competency to customers, accreditation bodies or both.

Preparation Note


  • The PT sample size provided is 10 g of biological fish matrix.
  • Recommended storage condition is 4 ºC.

Sample Preparation

  • For Method 8280A, a 10 g sample size contains sufficient concentrations of analytes such that levels above the method specified quantitative limits will be realized.
  • For Method 8290, a one-gram sample will contain concentrations of analytes such that levels above the method specified quantitative limits will be realized.
  • This holds true though levels of detection will be elevated owing to the reduced sample size used relative to that specified in the method.
  • Report on as received basis.

NOTE: Minimize exposure to the environment, cap when not in use.
