General description

Isopropanol, also known as 2-propanol or Isopropyl alcohol, is a 70% solution in water. i-PrOH is a secondary alcohol, colorless liquid, widely used as a solvent and intermediate in organic synthesis, miscible in solvents such as water, ethanol, ether, ethyl acetate, THF, and chloroform.
