A synthetic peptide, corresponding to residues 408-432(C-terminus of Peptide G) of human p62c-myc sequence, conjugated to KLH
Biochem/physiol Actions
Mouse Sp2/0 x Mouse BALB/c spleen
The antibody recognises human p62c-myc gene product and is specific for C-terminal peptide G. The antibody failed to immunoprecipitate p62 c-myc, but recognised the imunoblotted protein. Compared to other hybridomas specific to this antigen (Mycl-8F9, Mycl-3C7, CT9-B7, CT14-B2) Mycl-9E10 is the most sensitive probe for immunoblots. Conformation of antigen is critical for antibody recognition. No reported cross-reaction, with chicken p110gag-myc protein or mouse c-myc protein. This cell line is available as a growing culture only to customers in Europe.
