Mouse NS0/1 x Mouse BALB/c spleen
The antibody recognises CD2 antigen found on most thymocytes, T lymphocytes and splenic tissue macrophages. The OX-55 antigen has same distribution as OX-34 and OX-54 antigens but does not compete.

Preparation Note

RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO2; 37°C.
