The antibody is directed against a polymorphic determinant on the rat MHC Class I antigens. It shows a high degree of allospecificity, reacting with DA, PVG RT1a and PVG RT1rl rats, but not PVG, WAG or LEW rats.
Preparation Note
Maintain cultures between 2-5x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. These cells require mouse macrophage feeder cells upon resuscitation
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
