The antibody is directed against the envelope protein of the wild type and vaccine strains of yellow fever virus. It does not cross react with other flaviviruses.
Preparation Note
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 1mM Sodium Pyruvate (NaP) + 0.05mM 2-mercaptoethanol (2ME) + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 15% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
