The antibody detects the sheep CD58 molecule expressed by virtually all leukocytes and also by sheep erythrocytes. The L180/1 antibody inhibits the rosetting of SRBCs with human T cells or sheep T cell blasts. It shows species cross-reactivity with goats.
Preparation Note
DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
