The antibody is directed against a polymorphic determinant on bovine IgM. It reacts with serum IgM and IgM+ B cells, precipitating polypeptide chains of 80kDa and 28kDa. It does not react with bovine IgG.

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO₂; 37°C. These cells may require mouse macrophage feeder cells upon resuscitation.

RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
