Description

General description

The Eppendorf Varitips S dosing unit is a replacement dispensing part for use with Maxitips and consists of a barrel with a piston. The Varipette/Maxipettor becomes a functional unit when a Varitip is attached. The Varitip consists of a piston, barrel and tip and holds the liquid to be dispensed.

Features and Benefits

Use Varitips P for aspirating 1 mL to 10 mL from beakers using the positive displacement principle
Use Varitips S in combination with the Eppendorf Maxitip to aspirate between 2.5 mL and 10 mL of liquid from tall, narrow-necked vessels using the air cushion principle
Valve for Varitips ensures drip-free dosing of liquids with high vapor pressure
The graduation on Varitips ensures accurate dosing of non-aqueous liquids
