Gene Information
rabbit ... ATF2(1386)
Immunogen
The epitope recognized by PLA0202 maps to a region between residue 437 and 487 of human activating transcription factor 2 using the numbering given in entry AAY17203.1 (GeneID 1386).
Physical form
Tris-buffered Saline containing 0.1% BSA containing 0.09% Sodium Azide
Other Notes
Activating transcription factor 2 (ATF2) is a leucine-zipper transcription factor that binds to the cAMP-responsive element (CRE). ATF2 is involved in regulating the expression of a variety of proteins that are important to oncogenesis. It is a substrate of the JNK/p38 and ATM/ATR protein kinases which regulate its transactivating activity in response to environmental signals.
