General description

Porous frits are fitted at the column′s outlet end. This helps to retain the support material in the column. It could also be fitted in the coupling holding the column to the detector, this helps unpacking the column or even changing the frit on blockage. Frit porosity depends on the particles of the smallest diameter in the support material.
