General description
BIOshell™ A160 Peptide PCS-C18 columns are specifically engineered to provide efficient separation of peptides as well as small proteins. These columns contain advanced Fused-Core® particles with pores strategically sized to 160 Å to enable optimized peptide diffusion. This attribute makes these columns an excellent choice for peptide mapping. The unique PCS-C18 chemistry enables exceptional peak shape and enhanced loading capacity of basic peptides as compared to traditional C18 chemistries. In addition, the PCS-C18 facilitates the use of mobile phases with lower concentrations of mobile phase modifiers without any compromise to column performance. This column also provides orthogonal selectivity to ES-C18, ES-CN (cyano), and phenyl-hexyl chemistries.
Analysis Note
Target analytes include peptides, proteins (< 25 kDa MW), tryptic digests, and post-translationally modified (PTM) peptides and polypeptides.
