Color-disk comparator tests for high to medium concentrations
MQuant® color-disk comparator test kits for high to medium concentrations are based on the light transmittance principle plus sample blank, hence even turbid and lightly colored water samples can be analyzed without further preparation. The ten-stage color disk of the comparator is made of extremely durable plastic, providing durability and ease of use in industrial areas involving humid and wet environments. Our color-disk comparator test range of products is suitable for groundwater and surface water, drinking water, beverages, industrial water, boiler water and wastewater testing.
Titrimetric and colorimetric methods and tests for medium concentrations
MQuant® colorimetric and titrimetric test kits for medium concentrations product range comprise both titrimetric as well as colorimetric tests. In a titrimetric test, the sample is titrated until its color changes and the number of drops consumed to the turning point is counted, or alternatively the scale value is read from a pipette to determine the concentration of the tested parameter. For a colorimetric test, the reagents are added to the sample, resulting in a color reaction. The concentration is determined by matching the color with a color value on a color reference . Our MQuant® colorimetric and titrimetric test kits are mainly used for water analysis in aquaculture, limnology, environmental testing, and also in school lessons.
Color-Card comparator tests for very low and medium concentrations
Color-Card comparator testing is based on a comparison of the reaction color of the sample with the blank sample through a color scale. The method can determine concentrations down to the ppb range. The greater path length and the special construction design of the MQuant® comparator make these specifically high measurement sensitivities possible. Our MQuant® color-card comparator system for very low to medium concentration has applications in the testing of drinking water, groundwater, clean and mineral water, and in water production.
Compact laboratory for water testing
The MQuant® compact laboratory for water testing allows you to quickly measure all major parameters of standing or flowing surface water and accurately assess the current water quality with fast and simple test methods. Parameters such as pH measurement, ammonium content, biological oxygen demand (BOD), carbonate hardness, total hardness, residual hardness, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, and oxygen content can be determined using the MQuant® compact laboratory.
