This webinar focuses on the development of small molecules for various solar cell devices. These new materials aim to enhance efficiency and durability of the devices. The webinar will also explore an integrative approach that combines molecular design, interface engineering, and device fabrication to achieve high-performance polymer and perovskite solar cells. These cells have been certified to have efficiencies exceeding 26%.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- Development of Small Organic Molecules for different photonic devices like solar cells, displays, electronic materials, and security printing.
- An integrative approach that combines molecular design, interface engineering, and device fabrication to achieve high-performance polymer and perovskite solar cells.
- The development of semitransparent solar cells and their use in creating see-through power windows. These windows efficiently utilize solar photons from the visible to infrared range, offering both energy generation and saving features.

Dr. Li Chang-Zhi
Zhejiang University, China
Professor
Dr. Li Chang-Zhi is currently a Qiushi Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University. Dr. Li's research group has continually developed champion organic solar minimodules with the certified efficiency records documented in the "Solar Cell Efficiency Table" by Prof. Martin Green (59th, 60th, 61st and 62nd editions), and developed high-performance perovskite solar cells with the certified efficiency over 26%. Dr. Li has been recognized by several prestigious programs, including China Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and a global highly cited researcher (2019- 2023) by Clarivate Analytics. Dr. Li has made significant advances in n-doping of organic semiconductors using Lewis base anion dopants. He has also engaged in technology translation of high-performance organic and perovskite solar cells for manufacturing building integration photovoltaics.
