Markus is a biomolecular engineer. He is responsible for the strategic development and positioning of an excipient portfolio for oral solid dosage form applications. Thereby, the focus is to enhance solubility and bioavailability of the most challenging APIs with specifically engineered excipients for oral solid application. He holds a Ph.D. in biology/chemistry from the Technical University of Darmstadt and is a biomolecular engineer.

Lena is a pharmacist by training (University of Frankfurt) and focused on material characterization for solid oral dosage forms in her Ph.D. work in pharmaceutical technology (TU Braunschweig). As senior scientist in a team that concentrates on the development and application of functional excipients for oral delivery, she is responsible for the oral delivery of large molecules, permeability enhancers as well as predicting processability for oral solid dosage forms.
