一般描述
在存在吡啶和催化剂的条件下，4-氰基苯甲酰氯参与 Argopore MB-CHO 树脂的苄胺酰化反应。在氮气气体环境下，其可与4-羟基-2,2,6,6-四甲基哌啶-1-氧自由基（4-羟基-TEMPO）在吡啶中反应，形成4-氰基苯甲酰基-TEMPO。
应用
4-氰基苯甲酰氯已用于合成含有五元异恶唑、四唑和1,2,4-恶二唑环的新型液晶杂芳族化合物。它已用于合成取代的苯甲酸酯，并研究其激发态行为。
