General description
4′-(甲硫基)苯乙酮（4-(甲硫基)苯乙酮，对(甲硫基)苯乙酮，4-MTAP）是含硫的有机结构单元。它是药物合成中的关键中间体。在工业上以氯化铝作为催化剂和乙酰氯作为酰化剂，通过Friedel-Crafts酰化反应制备而成。也可在固体酸催化剂的存在下，通过茴香硫醚和乙酸酐的酰化反应制备而成。
Application
4′-(甲硫基)苯乙酮可用于合成Vioxx（罗非昔布），一种非甾体抗炎药(NSAID)。可用于合成(E)-1-[4-(甲硫基)苯基]-3-苯基丙-2-烯-1-酮。
