Biochem/physiol Actions
吡哆醇参与脂质和神经递质的产生过程。5′-磷酸吡哆醛(PLP)作为辅因子,稳定氨基酸 Cα 碳负离子。吡哆醇缺乏会导致周围神经病变。PLP 缺乏会导致新生儿癫痫性脑病。PLP 作为辅酶,在转氨、脱羧和脱氨反应中起作用,可将多巴转化为多巴胺、谷氨酸转化为 γ 氨基丁酸(GABA)、组氨酸转化组胺。PLP通过形成席夫(Schiff)碱机制起作用。
