甲磺酸吩嗪硫酸盐与抗坏血酸一同用于测定一氧化氮还原酶活性。
甲磺酸吩嗪硫酸盐用于：
  • 用作琥珀酸脱氢酶底物溶液的成分
  • 诱导红细胞悬浮液中的超氧化物自由基产生，研究其对红细胞变形能力的影响
  • 用作复合物II组织化学培养基成分

生化/生理作用

吩噻吩乙醇硫酸盐(PMS)充当良好的电子受体。PMS通过（烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸）NADH和（烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸磷酸）NADPH进行非酶促还原。
