General description

Atraton is a triazine herbicide intended to control weeds in a variety of crops. Triazines herbicides act by inhibiting photosynthesis in all organisms with oxygen-evolving photosystems.

Application

Atraton may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte:
  • In environmental water samples using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC/ESI/MS).
  • In fruits using an ultrasonic-assisted matrix solid-phase dispersion (UA-MSPD) method.
