RNA免疫沉淀（RIP）是研究核糖核蛋白（RNP）复合物中RNA结合蛋白（RBP）及其RNA靶点的强大方法。抗特定RBP的抗体被用于共沉淀RNP，即RBP及其RNA伴侣。然后，可以通过下一代测序鉴定RNA或通过RT-PCR检测特定RNA。
当与合适的抗体联用时，Imprint RNA免疫沉淀试剂盒可提供RIP实验成功所需的所有试剂。该试剂盒包括两种裂解缓冲液：一种较为温和，与RNP结合不紧密；另一种则很苛刻，可与RNP密切结合。其中随附蛋白A磁珠，用于收集免疫沉淀物，方便洗涤。该试剂盒还包括用于阴性对照RIP的兔和小鼠IgG，以及一种兔抗鼠的桥接抗体，用于将小鼠单克隆一抗有效结合至磁珠上的蛋白A；其中还含有蛋白酶和核糖核酸酶抑制剂，可保护RIP实验过程中RNP不被降解。
