General description

(Dimethylaminomethyl) ferrocene (DMAMF) is a ferrocene with a dimethylaminomethyl substituent attached to one of the cyclopentadienyl ligands. It can be used as a precursor in the preparation of iron oxide-based films.

Application

(Dimethylaminomethyl)ferrocene can be used as:
  • A Precursor in the preparation of iron oxide and magnesium-doped iron oxide films by atomic layer deposition (ALD).
  • An amine ligand in the synthesis of pentacarbonyl{[(dimethylamino)methyl]ferrocene}tungsten complex.
