Erythrosin B, also called as eosin B, is a xanthene dye. It belongs to the family of fluorescein dyes. It plays a major role in inhibiting dopamine uptake and high affinity ³H-ouabain binding and ion transport in synaptosomes from rat caudate nucleus.
