Silver(I)fluoride can be used as a reagent:
  • To synthesize aliphatic fluorinated products via oxidative C-H fluorination reaction using manganese-based catalysts.
  • In fluorinates homocoupling reaction of gem-difluoroalkenes.
It can also be used as a silver precursor salt to prepare silver nanoparticles.
