Palladium on carbon (Pd/C) (30 wt. % loading, matrix activated carbon support) can be used for a variety of applications, such as:

a catalyst for Heck reactions of aryl halides in ionic liquids
an anode catalyst for the fabrication of direct formic acid fuel cells (DFAFC)
a cost-effective electrocatalyst for the oxidation of methanol
in the catalytic hydrogenation of chemical hydrides for the production of hydrogen
a catalyst in Suzuki-Mayaura reaction
