General description
Isopropylamine (i-PrNH2), a primary mine, is a urinary metabolite of propranolol.
Application
Isopropylamine was used in the following studies:
- Preparation of enantiomerically pure (R and S)- acebutolol.
- As template during the hydrothermal synthesis of SAPO materials.
- Synthesis of bis(salicylaldiminate)nickel(II) complexes.
- Preparation of hydrated, microporous aluminum phosphate AlPO-14.
