Application

Isobutylzinc bromide is an organozinc compound, which can be used as a reagent in the palladium-catalyzed Negishi cross-coupling reaction to construct a carbon-carbon bond by reacting with aryl or heteroaryl halides . It is also used to prepare regioselective unsaturated ketones by reacting with tert-butyl isocyanide via an allylic carbonylative coupling reaction in the presence of a nickel catalyst.
