General description

L-isoleucine is an essential amino acid that is synthesized from threonine. It is a branched-chain hydrophobic amino acid. L-isoleucine is an isomer of L-leucine.

Application

L-Isoleucine-13C6,15N is used in the immunocapture isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IC-IDMS) to evaluate the suitability of the underlying monoclonal andpolyclonal antibodies (mAbs and pAbs) for new vaccine quantification.
