Application

Precursor to Rh(I) norbornadiene catalyst used in an asymmetric 1,4-addition of arylboronic acids to cyclic enones.
Di-μ-chlorotetraethylene dirhodium(I) may be used in the preparation of Π-bound rhodium organometallic complexes of ROMP-derived poly(1,5-cyclooctadiene) (poly(COD)). [ROMP= Ring-Opening Metathesis Polymerization; COD= 1,5-cyclooctadiene]
