General description
N,N-Dimethylformamide-d7 (DMF-d7) is a deuterated NMR solvent containing 0.03% (v/v) TMS (tetramethylsilane). It is useful in NMR-based research and analyses. Pulsed neutron diffraction measurements of different concentrations of molar lithium chloride (LiCl) solutions in DMF-d7 have been carried out to investigate the chloride ion solvation.
Application
N,N-Dimethylformamide-d7 may be used to analyze the degree of acrylation by proton NMR during the preparation of polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEG-DA) from poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG).
