Application

Poly(L-lactide); PLLA; is a semi-crystalline biodegradable polymer used in drug delivery; the azide functionality is commonly utilized in copper mediated ligation. PLLA is soluble in toluene, THF, CHCl₃, and CH₂Cl₂; insoluble in methanol; hexane and ether.
