General description
Green fluorescent nanodiamond.
Application
Nanodiamonds containing N-V-N color centers exhibit green fluorescence. These do not photobleach or photoblink and find applications in fluorescent bioimaging, cathode luminescent imaging, stimulated emission depletion (STED) imaging etc. In combination with NDs emitting in red fluorescence (N-V), it provides opportunities for multicolor imaging.
