This solvent blend consists of Dimethyl sulphoxide 50-70%; N,N-Dimethyloctanamide 20-30%; N,N-Dimethyldecan-1-amide 10-20%.

Application

N-Methyl Pyrrolidone (NMP)’s largest use in electronics is in cleaning, surface preparation applications and ink formulations. For coatings formulators looking to replace petroleum-based solvents with a bio-based, sustainable alternative, NMP substitute – type 2, bio-sourced is a solvent blend ideal replacement for NMP in a wide array of ink formulations and cleaning applications.

Our ElectroGreen solvent facilitates the preparation of cathode slurry for Li-ion and Li-S based batteries in a shorter time compared to NMP, demonstrating enhanced scalability and reduced capacity loss per cycle across various discharge current rates, indicating no degradation of the material.

Preparation Note

To ensure low water content, handle under inert conditions. Product should be refrigerated upon receipt.
