General description

Strontium nitrate, anydrous, ≥99.9% trace metals basis is a high-purity white powder essential for advanced materials applications requiring minimal impurities. It exhibits higher solubility and the ≥99.9% trace metals purity minimizes contaminants like Fe, Pb, and sulfates, critical for performance in high-tech syntheses.

Application

Strontium nitrate serves as a precursor in pyrotechnics for red flame coloration, glass and ceramic manufacturing. In R&D, its high purity supports thin-film deposition (CVD/ALD), catalyst preparation, and battery material synthesis where trace metal control is vital. It also finds use in electronics and oxide materials due to strontium′s role in ferroelectrics and superconductors. For instances, Strontium nitrate is used as a precursor for the synthesis of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3(LSCF) for intermediate and high-temperature SOFCs. It is also used to synthesis Co-free and Ni-free electrocatalyst for carbon dioxide electrolysis would be a turning point for the large-scale commercialization of solid-oxide electrolysis cells (CO2–SOECs)

Features and Benefits

  1. High Purity (≥99.9%): Ensures minimal impurities for reliable performance.
  2. Low metal impurities prevent defects
